UCAP has received a lot of happy news recently. In the end of September, Head Start was finally able to break ground on their building in Marshall. In the same week, the transportation program was awarded a grant to launch a new program called “Assisting Seniors on the Go” in January. And as icing on the cake, Minnesota Community Action chose UCAP’s Community Connection program for their “Community Highlights” published on October 1.
Watch our website for ongoing updates on the Head Start building progress, and details on how ASG will impact communities. (Spoiler alert: volunteers will be very important).
In the meantime, check out the Community Highlight featuring Community Connection.
