UCAP Head Start and transportation programs celebrate big wins
UCAP has received a lot of happy news recently. In the end of September, Head Start was finally able to break ground on their building in Marshall. In the same week, the transportation program was awarded a grant to launch a new program called "Assisting Seniors on the Go" in January. And as icing on the cake, Minnesota Community Action chose UCAP's Community Connection program for their "Community Highlights" published on October 1. UCAP is looking for a planning consultant
United Community Action Partnership is seeking a consultant to help with planning for a Regional Transportation Coordinating Council. A successful planning period will include up to 12 stakeholder meetings held throughout SW Minnesota. The consultant must compile data and use stakeholder input to create all needed elements, including but not limited to: Council bylaws, structure and membership, to move the Council into implementation.
