United Community Action Partnership is committed to helping. Through partnerships with community members, volunteers and businesses, we are addressing chronic hunger in many ways, such as by offering local food shelves, SNAP Outreach, NAPS and more.

Head Start

Head Start is a comprehensive program that supports both child and family development. It offers activities and experiences tailored to each child’s growth and needs. The program provides a range of services designed to meet the unique strengths and challenges of every family.

Community Transit of United Community Action Partnership is a public transit service providing transportation options for all people throughout Southwest Minnesota.

Everyone is welcome to ride Community Transit. Our fleet of over 40 lift-accessible buses provides public transportation throughout 8 counties in Southwest Minnesota. Our primary service area includes Cottonwood, Jackson, Lincoln, Lyon, Murray, Pipestone, Redwood, and Rock counties.

Need Help Filing Taxes?

UCAP’s Tax Clinic is Offered Year-Round! We offer both in-person and virtual tax clinics. We have locations across southwest Minnesota with services such as completing and e-filing state, federal, and property tax/renter’s credit returns.
